Winter Break

Well winter break is finally here! Time to finish those applications I have been procrastinating. Made a turkey ring-around. It is yummy, thank you Brittney for this recipe (listed below).

Egg, Broccoli, and Turkey Ring-Around
Prep Time: 30 min (ready in 1 hour)
Servings: 8

1 tbsp. butter
1.5 c frozen broccoli
1 package (3 oz) cream cheese
6 eggs
0.25 c milk

0.25 tsp. salt and pepper
0.75 c cooked ham or turkey
0.5 c cheddar cheese
2 cans Pillsbury crescent rolls

   1.  Heat oven to 375. Spray large cookie sheet or pizza pan with cooking spray. In a 10-inch nonstick skillet melt butter over medium heat. Cook broccoli and onion in butter 2 t0 3 minutes stirring frequently, until tender.

 2.  In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese with electric mixer until smooth. Beat in eggs, milk, salt and pepper until well combined. Add egg mixture to veggies in skillet; cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally until eggs are set but still moist. Stir in meat and cheese.
3.Unroll both cans of dough; separate into 16 triangles. Arrange triangles on cookie sheet with short sides of triangles toward the center.
4. Spoon egg mixture onto widest part of dough. Pull end points of the triangles over filling and tuck under dough in center to form a ring.
5.       Bake 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
