Yoga is a life-long practice that I discovered this summer. Working out not only
focuses you on the present, but it forces you to set aside your troubles. If only for an hour of your
day, you will have regained your humanity and remembered what it is like to
breathe and to do so with intense focus. When I practice and teach yoga, it
centers me as a person. Although I may spend the rest of my day in strenuous
sitting positions, I will always have that one hour to myself. In my hour I
remember what it is like to breathe, to focus, and to love the life I was
given.
"I can do everything through him who gives me strength."
-Philippians 4:13
